About Us
Offshore Sportsbooks is an independent comparison site for US bettors weighing offshore sportsbooks. We exist to help you compare odds, market coverage, bonuses, banking, payout reliability and trustworthiness, and to be straight about the risks. This page explains who we write for, how we work, how we make money, and where our knowledge stops.
Age and eligibility: this site is for adults only. You must be at least 21 (or older if your state or the sportsbook sets a higher minimum). If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER. Our Responsible Gambling page has more support information.
What we do and who it is for
We review and rank online sportsbooks that are licensed outside the US, commonly in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica, and that accept US players. Our readers usually fall into one of four groups:
- Bettors in states with no legal, regulated online sportsbook who want somewhere to play.
- Bettors looking for higher limits, reduced juice, or markets that regulated US betting sites restrict, including bettors who have been limited elsewhere.
- Crypto users interested in cryptocurrency betting, faster payouts and lighter verification.
- Bonus hunters comparing sign-up offers and reload bonuses.
We assume you already understand betting. What we try to add is a clear view of reliability, payout speed, limits and fees.
The legal reality we put first
Offshore sportsbooks sit in a legal grey area for US bettors. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized or licensed by a US state to serve them. These operators are not regulated by any State Gaming Commission or Board, so the protections that come with regulated US sportsbooks do not apply. That means no state-backed dispute resolution, no guarantee that funds are segregated, and no guarantee that a withdrawal will be paid.
Some states regulate online sports betting and racebooks. Others restrict or prohibit it. Rules change, so check your own state's laws before you play. Any tax or legal point on this site is general information only. Consult a qualified professional about your situation.
How we rate sportsbooks
Our rankings rest on research and review of publicly available information, not on claims that we personally deposited or withdrew money. Our editorial ratings are our own scores, not customer-review scores. We weigh:
| Factor | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Odds and pricing | Point spread, moneyline and totals pricing, and any reduced juice on offer |
| Market coverage | NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA, horse racing and racebooks, plus props, futures, parlays, same-game parlays and live betting |
| Bonuses | Welcome and reload bonuses, with rollover, minimum odds, time limits and eligibility |
| Banking | Crypto, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer and voucher options, plus fees and payout limits |
| Payout reliability | Stated payout speeds, reputation and track record of paying, as reported in public sources |
| Trust and security | Licensing claims, site security, verification (KYC) practices and customer support |
| Mobile | Betting apps or mobile browser experience |
Advertised payout times and licensing claims are what the sportsbooks say about themselves. We treat them as advertising unless we can verify them, and we say so when something is unresolved. Facts on this page were last checked on September 30, 2026. Offers and terms change often, so confirm details with the sportsbook before depositing.
How we make money, and why it does not decide rankings
We may earn a commission if you sign up through a link on this site. Commercial relationships do not decide rankings, and commission cannot buy a higher position. Every option carries a drawback we are willing to state, including the top-ranked one. Welcome offers shown on the site, such as match bonuses or free bets, always come with conditions. Read the rollover and wagering requirements before you accept any offer, and see our Terms and Conditions for how this site operates.
What our ratings cannot tell you
- A high score is not a guarantee that any sportsbook will pay you, on time or at all.
- Crypto payouts can be quick, but coin prices can move sharply between deposit and withdrawal.
- Offshore sportsbooks may lack the responsible gambling and self-exclusion tools of regulated operators.
- Bonus terms, limits and fees can change without notice.
Betting is entertainment with a real chance of losing money. It is not income and not a fix for financial stress. Only wager what you can afford to lose, set limits, and never chase losses. Any betting tips we publish are opinion, never guaranteed locks.
